Today, I'm delighted to introduce you to an artistic collaboration that is fundamental to the development and diversity of my work: creative stylist Alena Artistique. This adventure began with a shoot with our mutual friend and model, @claireobscuremodele, who brought along an outfit by Alena. I was immediately captivated by the way it looked in the studio, with its mix of matte and shiny fabrics, modelled bustiers and incredible accessories and jewellery. Curious to find out more, I went to her website:
There I discovered a veritable Ali Baba's cave, filled with outfits on a variety of themes that I'm particularly fond of, from goddesses to romanticism to historical styles. I felt like I'd found a treasure trove!
After that first shoot with Claire, I contacted Alena and we began a fruitful collaboration that has lasted for years. She lends me outfits and, in exchange, receives photos for her publicity. This balance has enabled us to develop a professional relationship based on our shared passion for fantasy and creativity.
As well as being incredibly talented, I was lucky enough to meet Alena in person during a new shoot with Claire. Unsurprisingly, she turned out to be a lovely woman, and I feel a great deal of gratitude towards her.
As I described in my article on Milunaire, styling is central to any creative photographer. The outfits define the originality of the shoot. In contrast to fashion photography, artistic photography naturally gravitates towards nude, bodypainting, or collaborating with passionate stylists like Alena.
Our Collaboration Themes
Nature and fantasy : Together, we explored themes linked to dreams and nature, creating images imbued with magic and mystery.
Dark, Warrior and Fantasy: We also worked on darker, more fantastical themes, featuring female warriors and characters from imaginary worlds.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Alena for our incredible collaboration. If you're looking for unique artistic outfits, I invite you to visit her website. Some of her creations are for sale and are definitely worth a visit.
See you soon!
